4phorion am dreiundzwanzigsten, dem dreiundzwanzigsten (Tag) der Prytanie;
5Ratsversammlung in Bouleuterion; von den Vorsitzenden leitete die Abstimmung
6[........]nes S.d. Philostratos aus dem Demos Pelekes und seine Mitvorsitzenden. Beschluß des Rates;
7Diokles S.d. Aristophilos aus dem Demos Erchia stellte den Antrag: Da die Getreideaufkäufer
8unter dem Archon Athenodoros die Opfer geopfert haben, die ihnen in diesem
9Jahr zukamen, für den Rat und das Volk und den König
10Demetrios und die Königin Phila und ihre
11Nachkommen; sie auch Sorge getragen haben für alles andere in guter und ehrgeiziger Weise,
12was ihnen die Gesetze vorschrieben und die Beschlüsse des Volkes;
13und sie dem Schatzmeister der Panathenäen, Agathaios, und dem Festspielleiter,
14Homeros, und dem Schatzmeister des Rates, Amphichares, sich als nützlich

24aufstelle vor dem Sitzungssaal; dass für die Aufzeichnung auf die Stele

13and they made themselves useful to the treasurer of the Panathenaia Agathaios
14and to the competition director Homeros and to the treasurer of the
15Council Amphichares in whatever way they asked them; in order therefore that there be
16incentive for the officials who are allotted at the time to carry out their office well and justly,
17for good fortune, the Council shall decide: to praise the grain protectors
18of the archonship of Athenodoros Athenodoros of Erchia,
19Archinos of Acharnai, Euthydemos of Melite, Agatharchos of Lamptrai,
20Demokles of Anaphlystos, and the allotted secretary Ergokles of
21Kropidai, for their love of honour and justice to the Council
22and the Athenian People; and the prytany secretary shall
23inscribe the praise for these men on a stone stele and
24stand it before the synedrion; and for the inscription of the stele the
25administrator shall allocate the expenditure accrued.

32of Athenodoros both performed the sacrifices pertaining to their
33year on behalf of the Council and the People and king Demetrios
34and queen Phthia and [his] descendants, and also managed
35the rest well and with love of honour which the
36laws and decrees of the People prescribed for them; - - - sufficient grain
37for the festival of the Panathenaia - - -
38achieved; and they made themselves useful in the ways they asked them

52secretary Ergokles of Kropidai and to crown them with a [gold]
53crown according to the law for their love of honour and justice

55secretary shall inscribe this decree on a stone
56stele and stand it before the synedrion; and for the inscription of the
57stele the treasurer of the military fund shall allocate the expenditure
58accrued.
